April Janney

April Janney has extensive experience in leadership and operations within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Illinois Action for Children since 2010, April has held various senior roles including Acting President & CEO, Senior Vice President Operations, Senior Vice President of Program, and Director of Provider Resources. Prior to this, April was Senior Vice President of Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (2007 - March 2009) and Regional Service Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of America (2003 - 2007). April's career began at Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, where April served as Assistant Vice President of Operations from 1988 to 2003. April Janney holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Roosevelt University.
