Shweta Chawla

Shweta Chawla is an accomplished pediatrician and medical consultant with a strong background in healthcare administration. Currently serving as a Medical Content Reviewer for the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics since January 2024 and as a General Pediatrician for Access Community Health Network, Shweta provides essential care and guidance in pediatric health. Previously, Shweta held the position of Lead Pediatrician at Aunt Martha's Health & Wellness from September 2017 to December 2022, where responsibilities included supervising medical staff and educating healthcare professionals. Shweta also completed a Pediatrics Residency at Chester Crozer Medical Center, with rotations at notable institutions, and has a solid academic foundation, holding a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of the Caribbean and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Additionally, Shweta has experience in promoting diversity and inclusion through organizational leadership at Loyola University Chicago.
