Christina Lopez

Christina Lopez, CPA, CIA, CRMA, currently serves as the Chief Internal Auditor at the Illinois Housing Development Authority since December 2020, overseeing the Internal Audit Department's operations, priorities, and audit plan execution. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Internal Audit at Aspen Dental Management, Inc., where Christina developed a comprehensive risk-based audit program, and significant contributions to the Alzheimer's Association as Senior Director of Internal Audit, managing audit functions across headquarters and numerous chapter organizations. Additionally, management roles were held at The Siegfried Group, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, CNA Insurance, and Crowe, accumulating extensive expertise in internal auditing, financial integrity, and organizational controls. Christina holds both a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame.
