Colette Cooney

Colette Cooney is an experienced staffing and recruiting specialist currently working at the Illinois Housing Development Authority since July 2024. Previously, Colette served as an event manager and HR generalist at Lakeshore Athletic Services from May 2021 to June 2024, where responsibilities included recruiting, onboarding, and managing over 75 events annually. Colette has also held roles with the IRONMAN Foundation as a development and community relations intern, providing support for athletes and donors, and with Loyola University Chicago as a marketing and ticket sales intern. Colette is pursuing a Master of Science in Human Resources Management at DePaul University, having earned a degree from Loyola University Chicago and completed studies at the John Felice Rome Center.
