John Chakonas

John Chakonas is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and IT finance. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the Illinois Housing Development Authority since May 2018, John previously held the position of Manager of Application Development in IT Finance at Follett Corporation from September 2012 to May 2018, where John managed a team responsible for supporting and enhancing 25 commercial systems and successfully led a significant Lawson upgrade. Prior to this, John worked as a Project Manager at McDonald's Corporation from 1995 to 2010, contributing to global and US IT restaurant projects. John earned a Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Methods and Business Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago.
