Vanessa Boykin, CPA, MBA, has over 30 years of extensive experience in finance and accounting. Vanessa has held various roles with organizations such as the Illinois Housing Development Authority, Career Accomplishments, Independent Consultant, Follett Higher Education Group, SP+, Conagra Brands, Beatrice Companies, Inc., and Esmark, Inc. Vanessa has excelled in duties ranging from managing projects, directing teams, financial planning & analysis, to implementing efficiencies in accounting processes. Their expertise includes financial reporting, risk management, internal controls, and project management. Vanessa's career showcases their strong leadership and proficiency in diverse financial roles.

Vanessa Boykin completed their Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago from 1974 to 1978. Vanessa then pursued an Executive Program XP-67 MBA at the University of Chicago from 1996 to 1997. Boykin also obtained the certification of Microsoft Excel Expert Certified in 2015 and became a Certified Public Accountant.
