Jimena Gomez

Jimena Gomez serves as a Senior Resident Advisor at the Illinois Institute of Technology since August 2022, managing the administrative information for a team of 40 and directly supervising a team of 10 under the guidance of a Residence Hall Director. Responsibilities include creating and organizing tracking spreadsheets, advising on team statistics, engaging with resident advisors to ensure timely task completion, creating duty schedules, and organizing recruitment processes. Previously, Jimena held the role of Resident Advisor, fostering community relationships and mentoring freshman students. Prior experience includes working as a Restaurant Cashier/Waitress at Los Arcos Mexican Grill from August 2017 to August 2022, where responsibilities encompassed ensuring customer satisfaction, managing transactions, and training new employees. Jimena is pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Business & Urban Studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in May 2026.
