Kathryn M Spink

Kathryn M Spink currently serves as President of the Central Association of Advisors for the Health Professions, a position held since April 2025, after previously holding the role of Vice President from April 2023 to April 2025. In addition, Kathryn has been with the Illinois Institute of Technology since August 2005, where roles include Director of Pre-Health Professions Programs and Senior Lecturer while chairing the Premedical Advisory Committee. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Northwestern University from August 2001 to August 2005. Kathryn earned a PhD in Virology from Michigan State University between 1993 and 2000 and a BS in Biology with a Microbiology option from Michigan Technological University from 1989 to 1993.
