Norma I. Scagnoli

Norma I. Scagnoli currently serves as the Vice Provost of Learning Innovation at Illinois Institute of Technology, a position held since August 2023. With extensive experience in academia, Norma I. Scagnoli has been a Research Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since October 2007, focusing on course design and innovative learning models. Previous roles include Assistant Dean for Education Innovation and Chief Learning Officer at the Gies College of Business, where contributions included developing pioneering MOOC-based programs. Norma I. Scagnoli also served as Assistant Vice Chancellor of Enterprise Learning Innovation at Northeastern University and held positions managing online programs and instructional design. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Human Resource Education and a Master’s in Education, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
