Sergey Nadtochiy is currently an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Illinois Institute of Technology since August 2018. Previously, Sergey served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan from September 2012 to July 2018, focusing on research and teaching within the Financial and Actuarial Mathematics Group. Prior to this role, Sergey was a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oxford University from September 2009 to August 2012, contributing to research and education at the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance. Earlier experience includes positions as a Summer Associate in Quantitative Research at JPMorgan and Bloomberg LP in 2008 and 2007, respectively. Sergey holds a PhD in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University (2005-2009) and a Specialist degree in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (2000-2005).
