Gideon Blustein

Gideon Blustein currently serves as the Senior Director of Advocacy Programs at Illinois REALTORS®, overseeing the association's independent expenditure program and advocacy campaigns. Prior roles include Senior Director of Local Government & External Affairs, where statewide local advocacy efforts were directed for a major professional trade association, and Director of Member Outreach, managing communications and outreach to members and corporate partners. Gideon's past experience encompasses advisory roles at Energy Simply, a Deputy Director position at the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and leadership roles within the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and various congressional offices. Gideon holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
