Stacy Zuber is a Research Data Scientist at the Illinois Soybean Association since July 2023. Prior to this role, Zuber served as a State Soil Health Specialist at USDA-NRCS from July 2020 to June 2023 and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Missouri-Columbia from January 2019 to June 2020, where research focused on landscape and land use impacts on soil health. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at Purdue University and a combined role as a PhD Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, along with a Master's Research Assistant position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Zuber began a career in education as a High School Science Teacher at Auburn High School from August 2008 to June 2011. Zuber holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Crop Science, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) checkoff and membership programs represent more than 43,000 soybean farmers in Illinois. The checkoff funds market development, soybean production and government relations efforts, while the membership program, Illinois Soybean Growers (ISG) and the Illinois Soybean Growers PAC actively advocates for positive and impactful legislation for farmers at local, state and national levels.
