Aslihan Demiralay Spaulding is a highly accomplished academic and professional in the field of agricultural economics, currently serving as an Executive Board Member for the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association since July 2022 and as a Research Associate at the Bogazici University Center for Economics and Econometrics. With a long tenure at Illinois State University that began in August 2003, Aslihan has held multiple roles, including Professor of Agribusiness & Food Industry Management and Interim Chair of the Department of Agriculture, also serving as Interim Department Chair for Economics ISU from July 2022 to June 2023.
