Jeff Bovee

Jeff Bovee currently serves as the Director of Track & Field and Cross Country at Illinois State University, a position held since October 2006, where oversight includes managing over 120 student athletes and a diverse coaching staff. Previous roles at Illinois State University included Head Cross Country/Associate Head Track & Field Coach, achieving significant success with mid-distance and distance runners, and Head Cross Country/Assistant Track & Field Coach, leading the men's program to a remarkable improvement in conference standings. Prior to ISU, Jeff Bovee held an Instructor of Exercise Science/Head Cross Country-Assistant Track & Field Coach position at Central College and served as an Academic Advisor/Instructor of Kinesiology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Early career experiences involve teaching special education at The Pavilion Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from the University of Arizona.
