Katie Bolkema

Katie Bolkema (Ehlen) is an experienced professional in women's basketball operations, currently serving as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations at Illinois State University since May 2016. Key responsibilities include game scheduling, travel arrangements, academic liaison duties, budget oversight, and player recruitment, as well as managing student-athlete social media and serving as a liaison for nutrition and community engagement. Katie’s previous roles include Assistant Women's Basketball Coach/Event Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Event Management Graduate Assistant at the Illinois State Athletic Department, and various positions in event management and sports supervision. Katie holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Recreation from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
