M.D. Tahmid Rashid

Md Tahmid Rashid is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Illinois State University since August 2023. With a strong background in academia, Rashid has been a Lecturer at Northern University Bangladesh since January 2017 and previously held a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame from June 2018 to July 2023. Earlier in his career, Rashid gained industry experience as a System Design Engineer at Softwind Tech and as a Teaching Assistant at BRAC University, where responsibilities included tutoring students in courses related to economics and semiconductor devices. Rashid's educational credentials include a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BRAC University. Rashid's foundational education includes GCE A Levels and O Levels from Sunnydale School in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
