Steve Wrzala

Steve Wrzala serves as the Director of Volleyball Operations and Athletics Academic Coordinator at Illinois State University since January 2021, with a prior stint as Interim Athletic Academic Coordinator. Wrzala also worked as a Clubhouse Supervisor at Weibring Golf Club from June 2020 to January 2021, and held several roles at Illinois State University including Football Operations Assistant and Development and Sales Graduate Assistant from May 2018 to June 2020. Additional experience includes assisting with tournament operations at The Basketball Tournament and serving as an assistant basketball coach for the Illinois Irish Basketball Program in 2019. Wrzala's background also includes roles with the Chicago Bulls as an Entertainment Associate and ESPN as a Broadcast Commentator and Sports Anchor. Wrzala holds a Master's degree in Sport Management and a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, both from Illinois State University.
