James Brunner

James B. is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public information and media relations. Currently serving as the Public Information Officer and Senior Communications Specialist at the Illinois Supreme Court since January 2017, James B. previously worked as a Public Information Associate at the Bronx County District Attorney's Office, managing media inquiries for a high volume of felony cases and assisting in the preparation of press materials. Earlier roles include Admin Assistant/Communications Manager for the Charlotte Copperheads Professional Indoor Lacrosse team and Staff Writer for The Observer, along with contributions to The Record's 'Listen Up' series. James B. holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and has additional education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Hasbrouck Heights High School.
