Skip Robertson serves as the Chief Information Officer for the Illinois Supreme Court and the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts since June 1995, providing technical leadership on statewide initiatives within the Illinois Judicial Branch. Prior to this role, Skip was a Technical Manager at Alexander & Alexander, Inc., where responsibilities included network and server administration for an Oracle database infrastructure. Experience also includes managing microcomputer and telecommunications at Vigoro Industries, Inc., developing applications for inventory and shipping processes. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a B.S. in Agriculture Business, along with a minor in Information Technology from Western Illinois University.

The Illinois Supreme Court, in addition to being the state’s highest court, is responsible for the state’s unified trial court, one appellate court with five districts, and several supporting units. General administrative and supervisory authority over the court system is vested in the Supreme Court. The Illinois Supreme Court is committed to improving access to the Illinois courts and making sure we serve the public as effectively, efficiently, and expeditiously as possible.
