Tyler Katz

Tyler Katz is a skilled Quality Engineer with extensive experience in operations and quality assurance within the manufacturing sector. Currently at ITW since May 2022, Tyler has successfully qualified supplier laboratories, completed AS9100 audits, and implemented data-driven strategies that led to significant cost savings. Previously, Tyler held roles at Precision Castparts, including Operations Supervisor and Quality Engineer, where notable accomplishments included enhancing production efficiency and revising operational procedures. Tyler's earlier experience includes serving as a lab teaching assistant at Kansas State University and various engineering internships, where analytical skills and a focus on lean manufacturing principles were developed. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
