Alex Kessel

Alex Kessel is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private markets and venture capital. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Illinois Venture Capital Association and as a Partner in Co-Investments at Adams Street Partners since September 2017, Alex has a strong track record of strategic investments. Previous roles include Board Member positions at Alpha Source, Inc. and a Principal at Baird Capital, along with observer roles at MedPlast Inc. and Justrite Manufacturing Company. Alex's education includes an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business focused on Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Strategic Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Alex began a career in investment banking with Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and has held various senior associate positions in the private equity sector.
