Sabiha Sultana

Sabiha Sultana currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Educational Studies at Illinois Wesleyan University, a position held since August 2025. Previously, Sabiha was a Doctoral Student and Chancellor's Fellow at UC Santa Barbara from October 2020 to June 2025, where key roles included Assessment Development & Analytic Coordinator for Critical Reading and Critical Writing Assessments, as well as teaching several courses related to education and community learning. Sabiha's extensive teaching experience spans multiple institutions, including serving as a Lecturer of Education at various universities and working with the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education in Bangladesh, focusing on ICT-led educational strategies. Sabiha holds a PhD and MA in Education from UC Santa Barbara, alongside multiple degrees from the University of Dhaka and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
