Courtney Byrd Swafford

Courtney Byrd Swafford currently serves as Head of Community at Illoominus and holds a mentorship role at Techstars Atlanta Powered by Cox Enterprises, both positions initiated in 2022. Additionally, Courtney is a member of the Board of Directors for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation since January 2022 and operates as a consultant and coach through LewisLeadership LLC, a position held since 2016. A seasoned professional, Courtney previously worked with the American Cancer Society in various leadership roles from 2010 to 2015, including Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Account Management and Chief of Staff. Prior experience includes positions at Alvarez & Marsal, Colgate Palmolive, and UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2007.
