Larissa Govender

Larissa Govender has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and engineering. Larissa started their career at Illovo Sugar South Africa in 2015 as an In-service Trainee in Electrical. Larissa then progressed to roles such as Plant Engineer, First Line Manager, and Electrical Engineer in Training. In 2020, they became a Data Analyst-Operational Excellence and later transitioned to the role of Procurement Analyst in 2022. Currently, they are working as a Process Lead in the Centre of Excellence Procurement at Illovo Sugar Africa.

Larissa Govender completed their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. In 2013, they attended the Durban University of Technology and obtained a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Heavy Current. Larissa then briefly attended the Tshwane University of Technology in 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor's of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering.
