Sats Somera has extensive experience in commercial management, currently serving as the Commercial Manager for Illovo Sugar Limited since January 2010, where responsibilities include managing two commercial business units within the Market Development Department and ensuring their profitability. Prior to this role, Sats worked at 3P Consulting (Pty) Ltd from July 2008 to July 2009, focusing on sourcing new business opportunities and executing high-level negotiations, financial analysis, and business case formulation. Sats holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MANCOSA, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Marketing from UNISA, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from UDW, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from UDW.
