Matt Hoffman

Matt Hoffman has a diverse work experience in the field of packaging. Matt is currently working at ILLUME® as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, responsible for managing packaging sourcing strategies. Prior to this, they worked at Duke Cannon Supply Co. as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, where they oversaw packaging sourcing and also held the position of Project Manager, focusing on 3PL and packaging projects.

Before joining Duke Cannon, Matt worked at Land O'Lakes, Inc. as an R&D Packaging Engineer. During their time there, they effectively managed multiple projects and successfully executed the consolidation of adhesives, resulting in significant cost savings and improved supply chain efficiency.

Matt also gained experience as a Packaging Engineer at ILLUME, where they achieved substantial cost savings in the first six months and implemented a labor-saving packaging design. Matt'sresponsibilities included leading packaging development from design to production floor execution.

Additionally, Matt has previous experience as an Intramural Sports Supervisor and Packaging Lab Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Recreation. Matt has also worked as a Research & Development Intern at Jim Beam Brands Co., where they conducted detailed analysis and provided support for project work. Furthermore, they served as a Packaging Research & Innovation Intern at ConAgra Foods.

Matt Hoffman completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Packaging with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Matt attended the university from 2013 to 2017. In January 2018, they obtained the certification of Certified Professional in Training (CPIT) from the IoPP - Institute of Packaging Professionals.
