Gusti Averbuch

SVP R&D at illumigyn

Gusti Averbuch has over 20 years of experience in the R&D and hardware engineering fields. In 1996, they began their career as a Hardware Design Engineer at Seabridge, where they were responsible for a wide range of communication boards, including clock distribution systems. In 1999, they moved to Mindspeed Technologies as a Hardware Design Engineer, where they were responsible for hardware design of complex boards based around high-speed communication devices and FPGAs. In 2002, they became a HW Manager at m-systems. In 2004, they joined SanDisk as a Hardware Engineering Manager, responsible for hardware design silicon level into SIM form factor and leading the board design engineering team. In 2008, they moved to Wellsense, Inc. as a VP R&D, responsible for leading the Company’s R&D programs and developing the Company’s overall strategies and Business Plan. Finally, in 2012, they joined illumigyn as SVP R&D.

Gusti Averbuch received their MBA from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering in 2006, majoring in Business Management. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ariel University in 2002.
