Eric Lake

Eric Lake holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota Medical School, where they focused on developing innovative fluorescence-based assays and high-throughput screening platforms in cancer research. With over a decade of scientific experience across various sectors, they have contributed to projects enhancing drug selectivity and developing personalized medicine routes. Currently, Eric serves as a Senior Scientist in Enzyme Process Development at Illumina, where they work on purifying critical enzymes for sequencing technology. They have also held positions as a Scientist and Lab Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and as a Research Associate at R&D Systems, where they were recognized for their contributions to pharmaceutical-grade protein production.
