Haneesa Begum

Haneesa Begum is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including biotechnology and media. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at Illumina since April 2025, Haneesa previously held roles at Kerry as a Communications Specialist and Internal Communications Specialist for the APMEA region. Key responsibilities included managing internal communications across 20 countries, leading content creation for newsletters, and collaborating with global teams. Haneesa's earlier career included journalism positions at South China Morning Post and Simple Flying, as well as content strategy and marketing roles at Anywhr and Lightfoot Travel.
