Jeremy Peirce

Jeremy Peirce is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in informatics and bioinformatics, currently serving as the Director of Service and Support for Informatics at Illumina since June 2006. In this role, Jeremy oversees the support for Illumina's informatics portfolio and addresses customer-facing challenges across all instruments and software in the Americas. Previous positions at Illumina include Associate Director and various managerial roles, where Jeremy developed new teams, implemented educational initiatives, and managed escalations. Prior experiences include postdoctoral research at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Princeton University, focusing on gene regulation and data analysis, alongside science writing. Jeremy holds an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Amherst College.
