Karl Zhou

Karl Zhou is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Principal Software Engineer 1 at Illumina since March 2015, after holding various senior roles including Sr. Staff and Staff Software Engineer. Prior to Illumina, Karl worked as a Software Architect at CyberOptics from March 2012 to March 2015, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Consistel from November 2010 to March 2012. Karl's career began at Yokogawa, where responsibilities included serving as Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer from December 2004 to November 2010. Karl holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Southeast University.
