Rita Fong is an experienced procurement and strategic sourcing professional with a strong background in supply chain management. Currently serving as a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager at Illumina, Rita Fong is responsible for supplier accountability and developing sourcing strategies that align with the company's technology roadmap. Previously, as the Global Sourcing Lead at Pfizer Inc., Rita Fong managed procurement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites, focusing on quality and cost balance post-acquisition of Hospira. Rita Fong's experience also includes roles at Kraft Foods/Mondelez International, where leadership in integrated business planning improved forecast accuracy, and at Philip Morris USA/Altria, where management of direct materials led to significant cost avoidance.
