Scott Louie

Scott Louie, CQE, is a seasoned quality engineering professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as a Staff Design Quality Engineer at Illumina since February 2019. Scott leads international cross-functional quality teams to ensure compliance with key regulatory standards while interfacing regularly with executive leadership. Previous roles at Illumina included Senior Design Quality Engineer and Design Quality Engineer 2, where Scott was responsible for risk management, design verification, and managing multiple new product introduction (NPI) programs. Prior experience includes research roles at Imerys, focusing on the development of composite materials, and an internship at Abide Therapeutics.
