Scott M. Davies

Scott M. Davies serves as Vice President, Chief Corporate Counsel, and Assistant Secretary (Deputy General Counsel) at Illumina since August 2009, overseeing the corporate legal group which manages various aspects of corporate and commercial legal activities, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property licensing. Prior to Illumina, Scott held senior legal positions at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, practicing in areas such as securities and corporate governance, and began legal career at Allen & Overy LLP in London. Scott M. Davies earned a JD, cum laude, from Cornell Law School and a BA in English with a chemistry minor from Brigham Young University.
