Shelby Eichman

Shelby Eichman currently holds the position of Associate Director of Reputation and Issues Management at Illumina, a role assumed in November 2021, following a tenure as Senior Manager of Corporate Communications. Prior to Illumina, Shelby served as Manager of Public Affairs at The Walt Disney Company from June 2019 to October 2021 and as Account Manager at Allison Worldwide between February 2018 and June 2019. Shelby's experience also includes a role as Media Relations and Technology Communications Leader at GE from 2014 to 2018 and participation in the Communications Leadership Development Program at GE in 2013. Early career experience includes an internship at Shriners Hospitals for Children - Northern California from February 2011 to June 2012, conducted under the mentorship of Veronica Martinez Cerdeno, focusing on pediatric regenerative medicine research. Shelby holds a Mini MBA in Management, obtained in December 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of California, Davis.
