Gillian Marcelle, PhD, is a strategic advisor and thought leader with extensive experience in investment and economic development. As the CEO and Founder of Resilience Capital Ventures LLC since October 2018, Gillian has focused on capital acquisition and mobilization, connecting investment sources with high-quality projects. Contributions to sustainable investment topics are made as a thought leader at illuminem since November 2021. Gillian's academic involvement includes serving as an Affiliated Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and former roles as an Associate Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand and Executive Director at UVI Research and Technology Park.
