Volker Marschner

Volker Marschner is an experienced professional in systems engineering and security consulting, currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer DACH at Illumio since December 2023. Previously, Volker held multiple roles at AlgoSec from February 2018 to December 2023, including Solution Architect EMEA and Technical Lead Systems Engineering - Central Europe. Prior experience includes positions at Cisco as a Security Consultant CISSP, and at Sourcefire Germany GmbH prior to its acquisition by Cisco. Volker also ran Volker Marschner Consulting und Coaching, and worked in business development and technical roles at MXI Security, Secure Computing, Aventail Germany GmbH, 3com, and Mipa AG. Volker holds a CISSP certification obtained from Firebrand in 2012.
