Deborah Peart

Deborah Peart serves as an IM Certified Facilitator at Illustrative Mathematics since January 2022, where responsibilities include supporting schools in adopting the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum and contributing as a lead writer for the IM K-5 curriculum team. Additionally, Peart is an Adjunct Instructor at Mount Holyoke College since July 2021, leading various courses and professional learning community meetings focused on mathematics education. As the Director of Elementary Learning at UnboundEd.org since January 2021 and a former Lead Curriculum Writer for Grade 2 at Illustrative Mathematics from October 2018 to January 2021, Peart has extensive experience in curriculum development. Previous roles include teaching third grade at The Westminster Schools and fourth grade at Greenwich Country Day School. Peart is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Program Development at the University of South Florida, along with various other educational qualifications in mathematics and literacy.
