Marcello Canetti has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and sales. Marcello started their career at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, where they worked as a Sales Analyst in the Economic & Commercial Office. Marcello then joined Nestlé Waters as a Sales Analyst and later became a Junior National Key Account in Sales. After that, Marcello worked at Nestle as a Product Manager in Horeca Marketing Italy, where they were responsible for product portfolio management and market strategies. Marcello then moved on to illycaffè, where they held various roles, including Group Product Manager OOH and Marketing Manager Horeca & Consumer Products - EMEA. In these roles, they were involved in trade marketing, developing marketing strategies, and driving product innovation. Currently, Marcello is the Head of Global Trade Marketing at illycaffè, where they focus on designing trade marketing and commercial strategies.
Marcello Canetti has a Certificate in Design Thinking and the Art of Innovation from Stanford University in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master Degree in Management from the University of Naples 'Parthenope' between 2005 and 2007. Marcello also holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Economics from the University of Naples 'Parthenope' from 2001 to 2005. In addition, Marcello has certifications, including the European Computer Driving License from the University of Naples, Parthenope in 2005 and the European car driving license from Motorization in 2001.
