Seppo Parvi

Seppo Parvi is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Bekaert since November 2024, Seppo oversees critical functions such as financial controlling, reporting, and risk management. Previous positions include Chief Financial Officer and Deputy to the CEO at Stora Enso, and CFO at Ahlstrom, where responsibilities encompassed M&A and treasury management. Seppo has also held board positions at Ilmarinen, Finnish Forest Industries Federation, and Pohjolan Voima, among others, demonstrating a strong commitment to governance and risk management. An alumnus of the University of Vaasa with a Master's degree in Economics, Seppo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the financial sector.
