Joel Cockman

Joel Cockman is a highly experienced mining engineer with a robust background in the mining industry, currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer at Iluka Resources since July 2023. Prior to this role, Joel held various engineering positions at Fortescue Metals Group from August 2020 to June 2023, including Senior Mining Engineer Decarbonisation and Mining Engineer. Joel's career also includes significant roles at RPM Global as a Senior Mining Engineer, at Rio Tinto as both a Specialist Mining Engineer and Specialist Planning Engineer, and as a Senior Project Surveyor. Early in the career, Joel worked as a Tech Services Consultant at Maptek and as a Senior Surveyor at Barrick Gold Corporation from 2002 to 2004.
