Suresh Sakar

Suresh Sakar has extensive experience in engineering management, currently serving as Engineering and Technology Manager at Iluka Resources since 2008. In this role, Suresh provides engineering technical services for major projects, ensures quality service provision, manages idle asset preservation, and advances technical development projects to commercialization. Prior to this, Suresh held various engineering management positions at Iluka, including Engineering Manager for Australia and East, as well as Chief Electrical Engineer for the Jacinth Ambrosia project. Suresh's earlier experience includes roles as Senior Capital Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, and Area Electrical Engineer at Alcoa from 2001 to 2007. Suresh holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering from The University of Western Australia.
