Luis Corbala Robles is an experienced research assistant at ILVO since October 2018, focusing on energy savings in greenhouse horticulture, new product development, and climate-neutral control strategies. Prior to this role, Luis completed a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences with a focus on Environmental Technology at Ghent University from October 2014 to September 2019. Previous experience includes a brief internship at Waterleau, where Luis monitored UASB and MBR reactor treatment facilities. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy from Ghent University, a Master's degree in Life Science and Technology from Delft University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara.
