Vanessa Burningham is the CEO and Founder of Topela, a digital marketing agency based in Suisse Romande, specializing in luxury brand marketing, community management, influencer marketing, and photo/video marketing since July 2020. In addition to this role, Vanessa is a sympathetic member of the Association Femmes PME Suisse romande and a member of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services (CCIG). Previous experience includes serving as a Digital Marketing Consultant at CosKin and working at EPFL Innovation Park in various digital marketing roles from 2015 to 2019, where involvement in the start-up ecosystem was key. Vanessa has also held administrative and marketing positions at Glion Institute of Higher Education, Swiss Hotel Management School, Altran Switzerland, Publitec Communication, and Sushi Mania. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University, a certification in E-Commerce from Cadschool, and a Digital Marketing Manager certification from Nomades Advanced Technologies.

Association de droit privé, indépendante de l’Etat, la CCIG a pour objectif d’assurer une économie forte, permettant aux acteurs qui constituent le tissu économique local d’exercer leur activité de manière pérenne. Pour ce faire, l’action de la CCIG se décline en quatre missions : - Améliorer les conditions cadre ayant trait à l'économie - Promouvoir ses membres par la mise en relation d'affaires - Fournir des services aux entreprises - Informer et documenter ses membres.
