Richard Bruce

Richard Bruce has worked for a variety of companies since 1994. Richard began their career as a Computer Specialist at Oklahoma State University, followed by an internship at Ultramar as a Process Safety Engineering Intern in 1997. Richard then worked as an Internetwork Engineer and Routing Protocols Team member at Cisco Systems from 1999-2003. After that, they were an Intern at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2003 and a Radiology Resident at UW Health in 2004. In 2007, they were a Neuroradiology Fellow at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. From 2009-2013, they were an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at University of Wisconsin-Madison, with interests in workflow optimization and quality improvement through the development and integration of information technologies. Richard also worked as Vice Chair of Informatics and Medical Director of Radiology Informatics at UW Health during this time. In 2013, they became a Cofounder and CTO at ImageMover, where they had an amazing journey with a great team and learned a lot in the first 5 years.

Richard Bruce obtained their M.D. from UT Southwestern Medical Center between 1999 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University between 1994 and 1998.
