Jonathan Kessler

Jonathan Kessler has a diverse work experience in the field of social media management and video editing. Jonathan most recently worked at Imagen as a Social Media Manager, where they developed the company's social media marketing strategy and achieved significant growth in Instagram followers. Prior to that, they held the same role at Lightricks, where they managed all brand-related social accounts and collaborated with internal and external content creators.

Before their roles in social media management, Jonathan worked at the Tel Aviv Yafo Municipality as a Social Media Manager, creating content for the municipality's social media platforms and engaging with city residents. Jonathan also worked as a Social Media Manager at The Movement for Quality Government in Israel, leading a team and managing multiple social media platforms to increase user engagement.

Jonathan started their career as a freelancer, working as a Video Editor for the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation and editing video articles, digital ads, music videos, and political campaigns. Jonathan also directed and edited a weekly musical talk-show called "Live in the Living Room".

Additionally, Jonathan gained valuable experience at the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, where they served as the Head of Post Production, leading a team of video editors, graphic designers, and animators. Jonathan took part in an exchange semester at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2019-2020, studying Philosophy & DaF. Additionally, in 2018-2019, they were awarded a summer study abroad scholarship at the University of Vienna, focusing on German Language.

Jonathan's education journey began at Thelma Yellin High School of Arts, where they completed their Full Matriculation degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from 2009 to 2012.
