Shir Levi

Shir Levi is a Deep Learning Researcher currently at Imagen, with prior experience at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200. At Unit 8200, Shir focused on developing computer vision algorithms, particularly in OCR. Previously, during tenure at Unit 9900 within the Israeli Intelligence Corps, Shir led a team of algorithm and software engineers on surveillance satellite mission planning, utilizing evolutionary algorithms and data-driven machine learning methods. Shir also has experience as an Algorithm Engineer, implementing and deploying satellite mission planning algorithms for extensive operational use. Early in the career, Shir served as a Teaching Assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, instructing physics labs. Shir holds an MBA and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from Technion.
