Inbal Gazy has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Inbal began their career as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, then worked as a Laboratory Technician at Shaare Zedek Medical Centre from 2011-2012. From 2012-2015, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tel Aviv University, conducting research in the field of genome stability and telomere length maintenance. From 2015-2020, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, researching repeat expansion diseases, specifically Fragile-X related disorders. Most recently, they have been a Senior Researcher at Imagene AI since 2021.
Inbal Gazy completed their PhD in Human Genetics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2011. Prior to that, they earned their M.Sc. in Human Genetics from the same university in 2005. Inbal began their academic career in 1999, when they completed their B.Sc.Med in Basic Medical Sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
