Shahar Porat

Shahar Porat is a software engineer with extensive experience in the field. Shahar began their career in 2012 as a Software Developer at Hermes Logistics Technologies. In 2014, they joined the C4I and Cyber Security Directorate of the Israel Defence Forces as a Software Development Manager and Architect. In this role, they initiated the Mobility ecosystem, designed and developed the Push Notifications Infrastructure solution, and implemented the IDF's first and only Open Source Web & Mobile Analytics platform. In 2016, they co-founded Appload Ltd. and served as the Co-Founder and CTO. In 2019, they joined AID Genomics as the Director of Software Development, where they were in charge of both the Development and QA functions in the company’s R&D department. Shahar also led the development and technical architecture of several projects in the field of molecular biology and genomics. In 2020, they co-founded Imagene AI, where they serve as the Co-Founder and CTO. Imagene AI provides AI-based molecular testing for cancer, leveraging the patient's histological data for personalized therapy.

Shahar Porat received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies between 2015 and 2020.
