Pete Faux has over 20 years of experience in software development and management. Pete began their career as a Software Developer at MediNotes Corporation in 1999, where they provided programming and implementation support for the electronic health record system. Pete also communicated and coordinated interfaces with other systems, acting as a liaison between the support and development teams. In 2006, Pete transitioned to Eclipsys/MediNotes Corporation as a Manager/Assistant Manager of Development. Pete oversaw a team of twelve, working on transitioning from client-server medical records software to a .NET web-driven application. At Future Health Software, Pete worked as a Software Engineer from 2009 to 2011, where they designed, developed, and supported medical office software. Pete was also a subject matter expert on HL7 based interfaces and integrated third-party prescribing software. Currently, Pete is employed at ImageTrend, starting as a Software Developer in 2012. Pete later served as a Lead Software Developer, leading a team in the evolution of ImageTrend's Billing Bridge software. Currently, Pete holds the position of Software Development Manager at ImageTrend, with responsibilities that include project management, release management, agile sprint planning, and documentation.
Pete Faux obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wartburg College, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
